Dr. Keller's Background

  Hello, I'm Dr. Michael Keller with the Colon & Rectal Surgical Associates of San Antonio.  I was a native of San Antonio throughout my younger years, then left for Creighton University in Omaha, NE.  I met my beautiful wife Renee while in college and we married during Medical School.  Four winters in the Midwest reminded me of of how much I loved Texas and we came back to Houston for Medical School at the UT Health Sciences Center.  While training as a General Surgery Resident in Jackson, MS we welcomed our son Ethan in 2007 and our daughter Elizabeth in 2010. Texas was once again calling, and we moved to Dallas for my Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship.  After my Fellowship, we were able to move back to San Antonio and join the Colon & Rectal Surgical Associates of San Antonio.
   I am honored to have the opportunity to serve my community.  I am Board Certified in General Surgery and am specially trained in minimally invasive surgery including advanced laparoscopic surgery , single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS), colonoscopy, and multiple other procedures.  I look forward to the opportunity to be your treating physician in the field of Colon & Rectal Surgery.  I hope you will find our consultation to be comfortable, trustworthy, and fulfilling in the treatment and education of your healthcare needs.
